JOURNAL OF MALAYAN BRANCH OF ASIATIC SOCIETY
Pautan asal adalah dari Sabrizain.org

In 1923, the Straits Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (SBRAS) was renamed the Malayan Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (MBRAS), in response to the increasing sphere of influence of the British over the Malay Peninsula and its surrounding areas. As a result of this change of name, the name of the Society’s Journal was changed to the Journal of the Malayan Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (JMBRAS). The numbering started at 1, with each volume having several parts (e.g. JMBRAS volume 1, part 1 was published in April 1923, JMBRAS volume 1, part 2 in October 1923 and volume 1, part 3 in December of the same year). Publication of JMBRAS was interrupted by the Japanese invasion of Malaya in World War II: the last issue (volume 19 part 3) came out in December 1941. Publication resumed with volume 20 part 1 in June 1947.

  1. Dear Sir, thank you very much for making these copies available. Could you please guide me as to how the pre 1924 versions may be obtained?

    Thank you and kind regards.
